Hi there - I am a professional guitar teacher & musician based in Dundee, Scotland with over 30 years experience of playing & teaching. I give private online one-to-one guitar lessons on Skype, Facetime, Zoom etc. and I also teach my students at the tuition studio in Dundee. This website is about both the traditional tuition I offer as well as my face to face online lessons where you the student can learn how to play the guitar in the comfort of your own home - without the need to travel anywhere. Some of my students prefer to have a combination of online tuition alongside their lessons at the studio - both of which are beneficial for different reasons. Unlike any app or crash-course on guitar that I see on the internet these days - with me as your personal guitar coach I can give you immediate feedback & advice that relates to you as a unique individual. Personally I believe that the "one-size-fits-all" broad-brush approach to teaching an instrument is no substitute for a personal tutor. As I teach you I can see every move you make on the guitar and quickly advise accordingly - no program or app can do this. If you prefer not having to waste time getting to the other side of town and then parking the car - or if you just hate having to go out when the weather's bad - my online one-to-one personal guitar tuition is the ideal solution for you.
